Aednat, tired of blocking, spit in her opponent's eye. His disgust distracted him just long enough for her to end him with her blade. Her comrades were on the run and she followed suit. As she ran after Catone, she threw knives at a few guards, missing one but killing a few more. She ran across a rope swiftly, her hands out to keep her balance. Catone whistled for them to catch up. She looked up at him.

There was blood on his ear, running down his face. He needed a doctor and she couldn't carry him, but he seemed to be doing alright. At least for now. She climbed up to him and threw a few more knives down at the guards. Their pathetic attempts to climb up the ladder to them were starting to get on her nerves. She looked up to make sure Nicola was alright, then went back to killing a few more guards.

"Morons." she said to Catone. She sat next to him, eyeing his wound. "Are you alright, lad?" She leaned in to better examine it, careful to keep her distance to avoid any discomfort.

Nicola had to take a slightly different route than his companions, being on a lower elevation than they were. He leaped from building to building, keeping a keen eye on the direction they were headed. At last when he had reached them, he had to jump across a large gap that separated the rooftops. Nearly slipping as he grasped a loose brick in the establishment, he pulled himself up the remaining distance, grimacing.

"Come! We have to keep going!" he called to them as he reached the top. He had stumbled clumsily, but he caught himself. And then he heard one of the most dreaded noises: the pull of another bow. "Go!" he cried out, making a sprint for the next rooftop. An arrow soared straight over his head.

The Assassin nodded, holding pressure on his wound. He should be fine for a few more minutes, but all this activity was getting his heart pumping more and more. Which meant more blood would just keep coming. "I'll be alright. Do you have a bandage or-"

Interrupted by Nicola's shout, he cursed and watched as another barrage of arrows came their way. He grasped Aednat's shoulders and pulled her along as he rolled out of the way. Thankfully, she remained unscathed as he staggered to his feet. Him on the other hand was a different story.

All he could do was stare in shock at the arrow sticking out his forearm.

Gasping in pain, he clutched around the wound and ran across the rooftop. The guards were on the other side and the nearest alley was almost twenty yards away. Spotting just what he needed, he leapt off the roof.

Sailing through the air for a brief moment, he bit his lips in preparation before he plunged into the hay cart, stiffling his screams of agony as he jostled the arrow. Hiding here would be the safest course of action.

That is, if he didn't loose too much blood waiting.

Nicola's cry to keep running didn't surprise her, but Catone's quick reaction did. She wasn't hurt, but a few drops of blood landed near her hand. She looked up at the arrow in Catone's arm. He took off running, no doubt in some desperate attempt to escape. She was grateful that he had saved her and hoped he wouldn't lose his arm. As she jumped up to her feet, an arrow flew right past her midsection, startling her. She cursed in Gaelic and ran after Catone. The Assassin had disappeared from her line of sight, but she knew he was nearby. If only she could climb down...

A great pain on the lower part of her leg. She cried out and stumbled as she tried to keep her balance.

She kept going as fast as she could, dizzy and unstable as she dodged more arrows. She searched desperately for somewhere safe to hide. There was no where to go, so she dropped from the ledge, sending fresh pain up her leg. She tried to climb down, but her leg hurt so bad that she lost her balance and fell, grabbing for ledges before hitting the ground. It knocked the wind out of her, but she was otherwise unharmed.

She hoped Nicola was alright up there, lagging behind to take down guards. As her breath returned to her, she gathered up the strength to pick herself up and limp miserably to the nearest alley. She hoped to hide there and see about her wound.

As the number of injuries increased across his comrades, Nicola was quickly running out of options. Biting his tongue, he made a stop, dropping to one knee and drawing out his crossbow yet again. The only way they could survive was if he could buy them time. Perhaps, just perhaps, they could escape if he just held off the guards for a little while longer. Reaching for bolt after bolt, he laid down his own barrage of projectiles. Many of them missed, but those unfortunate enough to be hit met a sudden doom as they fell from their positions towards the earth.

But Nicola's luck was short-lived. A sharp, piercing pain entered the side of his waist, and he let put a short yelp. It was so sudden, and so unexpected, that it completely drew all of Nico's breath. Clutching his side, he knew it was time to go.
