Appearance: Aednat is small, but with a full figure and barely noticeable muscle tone. Her features are soft and her face round. She has large green eyes and long, very curly red hair, which she ties back and hides under her hood every time she leaves the den. Her lips are full and pink, and she has light freckles on her nose. Her skin is quite pale, but she is obviously not Italian. She prefers to stay in her Assassin robes, which are similar to Ezio's Renaissance robes. Hers are black with red detail. The sash has a gold Celtic knot embroidered along the length. Her dual hidden blades have the assassin symbol on the bracers, and the armor on her torso has a flame engraved in the center. In the center of the flame is a ruby. She has dark brown pants and boots of a lighter color. She protects her shins with leather shin guards hidden in her boots. She wears one metal spaulder on her left shoulder. On her left ring finger she has a plain silver band that has the word "Laegaire" on engraved on the inside. As for weapons, Aednat is more fond of daggers than swords, so she carries one hidden in her boot at all times. She keeps throwing knives on the left side of her belt, and has a small vial of poison for "emergencies".

Distinguishing Features: A scar on her right eyebrow where hair no longer grows. She got it in a fight she shouldn't have been in. Also, though most will never see it, she has a Celtic dog tattoo on her right shoulder blade.

Personality: Aednat is headstrong and difficult to impress. Her skills aren't the best, she knows, but it takes a great feat to earn praise from her. She is quite used to the routine freerunning and assassinations. Aednat teases her fellow Assassins often, but is always ready to take what she dishes out, claiming it's all in good fun. In general she is light-hearted and fiery when she's not working. When she's out on a job she is serious and to the point. She believes that every individual should work as hard as they can to honor the Brotherhood. On a deeper level, she never fully trusts anyone, but other Assassins are the ones that get closest. The only living thing she truly loves is her dog. When she's not working, he follows her everywhere. She harbors a deep hatred for all Templars, and sometimes struggles not to kill them on sight. Fortunately, she has enough self-control to do only what is asked of her. This she does very well, with pride.

History:Aednat was born in Scotland to a poor farmer and his wife. They lived ordinary lives, growing crops and raising sheep. Aednat was content to live on a farm, where she developed her love for animals and her exceptional climbing skills. She grew strong helping her father tend to the flock and do work around the farm. Her world was turned upside down one day as a group of Templars went to her home and killed half the flock and burned all the crops, all because her father refused to help them. She was only eight at the time. The farm never recovered, and Aednat's family was forced to leave.

It was suggested by Aednat's father that they go to Italy. It was far from the Templars, and the change of scenery would be good for them. They spent the last of their savings on a voyage that killed Aednat's father. He grew ill on the ship and never recovered. Soon after their arrival, Aednat's mother died. The reason was unknown, but it didn't matter to Aednat. She was an orphan in the middle of a foreign country. Italian was a hard language for her to learn, but she had picked up just enough to barely get by on her own.

She didn't have to live on the streets for long. One night, as she wandered the allies of Rome, she stumbled upon an Assassin as he killed his target. The sight of blood no longer phased her, and her morbid curiosity got the better of her. She decided she had nothing to live for anyway, so she followed the Assassin. She never lost him, even as he walked through crowds, for he would always show himself eventually. As he scaled the side of a building, she watched. Ever fearless, she began to climb after him. When she reached the top, he was waiting for her there. Naturally, she was recruited before long and began proper training. To this day she is thankful for the Assassin she followed, for he was her key to the life she was born to lead.
