If you get lost you can always be found
Time Period: Byzantium
Appearance: Tahir has a fairly toned body from his years of service in the creed. His skin has a meager tan to it. He has a narrow jaw and a flat nose. A pair of light-brown eyes are easily the softest features of his face. He has medium-length curly brown hair that he prefers to keep out of his eyes, and a little bit of scruffy-looking facial hair that he neglects to keep shaved. There are three bronze ring-shaped earrings that align along the outside of his ear, which is quite obviously one of the first features someone will notice.
His Assassin outfit is a dusk-black, with beautiful crimson vines that spread from his shoulders vertically to the end of his robes. A lighter-colored crimson sash extends from his right shoulder to his waist, where a maximum of eight throwing knives can be seen protruding along the fabric. For protection, Tahir will usually wear some leather bracers and a pauldron on his left shoulder; he prefers keeping armor at a minimum, prioritizing speed and agility.
Height: 5'11
Distinguishing Features: Three piercings along the outer edge his right ear.
Just know you’re not alone
Personality: Tahir has always the perfect example of a true lone wolf. He is quiet, and always keeps to himself. He has always had a thrill of accomplishing things on his own, and so he learned to get through life his own way. He hates being told what to do, but is obedient to orders, unless they conflict with the method in which he plans to carry them out. He can be quite impatient with others, but will almost never express a disliking for someone. In conversation, Tahir is short-spoken and blunt--but his brutal honesty is probably what stands out the most. He has zero tolerance for threats and mockery of himself, and he is never afraid to start a fight.

Cause I’m gonna make this place your home.
History: Tahir was born on a farm a few miles west of Constantinople. His mother, in a stroke of misfortune, was killed during his childbirth. Growing up isolated from the rest of society without a mother would prove to leave Tahir as a much more withdrawn individual. Regardless, he would grow into a young man, working on the farm with his father for the years to come. Without any education, it soon became clear to Tahir that he would be working this farm until the day he died. This wasn't the life he wanted to live.
Tahir craved for more adventure in life. He wanted to see new places, experience new things, and ultimately to do something more meaningful than plowing the fields until he withered of old age. It was then at the age of 17 that Tahir would finally decide to run away from the farm that had been his home--away to the great city of Constantinople.
Reality quickly set in. Tahir was homeless in the streets of Constantinople. What little food he ever ate had to be stolen. He learned to run--to escape the guards that hunted him so viciously. Tahir was miserable; this wasn't the life he hoped he would live.
But what he wasn't aware of was the attention his actions would get. The Assassins found him when he was weak, gave him shelter, fed him. Soon, he became one of them. They taught him to read, how to climb, how to fight, how to use a throwing knife, how to eavesdrop without being seen, how to scout a hideout, how to keep to the shadows, and many other things. He enjoyed being a part of the Assassins; they became his family, his brethren. Their enemies were his, and their problems were his own.
