A beautiful winter’s day as the snow glistened in the sunlight. The roof tops were snow covered showed Venice as a winter wonderland. Everything was covered in snow which made a perfect painting scene. This cold winter day a young assassin stood on the roof tops watching the city below as the citizens’ hustle and bustled in everyday life. It was as if the citizens were stuck in everyday life. This assassin was a female by the name of Alessia; and Venice was her home and the place she terrorized when she was a child. She knew eventually she’d have to get down off the roof top and enter the normal life of well the city. This day she was dressed as an assassin, wearing her black top with the hood that covered her eyes and leather pants with her boots. Though, she didn’t have her hood and revealed a pale face with long brown hair tied back in a ponytail. Typically she wore her hood to conceal her identity but this day was a bit different. She wasn’t hiding from anyone and she had her sword by her side.
Alessia jumped quickly to the next roof top making sure she wasn’t being seen by the guards. The guards hated her just because she was quick when she crossed the roofs. If she showed a pretty face they usually just let her go without questions. She found herself on a roof top of the brothel. You could tell the girls were cold as the usual amount of them weren’t roaming the streets hardly. Ali cleared a spot on the roof just to gaze out around the city. She wasn’t sure where she was going to go next. It was when it hit her that she would go to the docks and see if anything new was happening around there. She quickly jumped to the next building and climbed her way down making sure she wouldn’t be seen by any guards.
The moment Alessia dropped to the ground she began running away from the building. At that moment guards could be heard yelling for her. Though, she didn’t do anything on the roof tops they were wondering why she was up there. One turn down and alley and she lost them. She put on her hood and just walked the streets alone never really sure if she was being followed or not. The second she made the docks, the temperature dropped a bit as the ocean air surrounded around all of the docks. She smiled a little finding a bench close to where the ships came in. Alessia moved over and sat down watching everything that was going on. She was a bit paranoid since she only returned from Rome a few days ago. Crunching of the snow could be heard in the background as the citizens walked.
