Out of Character
1. Respect everybody
Please be respectful of everyone. This includes their thoughts and ideas.
2. Keep swearing to a minimum
We are all intelligent people We can think of better words than f-bombs and offensive name-calling. I don't care if you use smaller ones like damn, but please don't make it every other word. Thanks.
3. Try to get along with your fellow members.
I understand people getting upset with each other, but we can all be adults, forgive each other and get over it. Nobody really enjoys being mad.
4. If you know that you will be inactive for 3 days or more, please let us know in the absences board.
5. From time to time, there will be an activity-check, for which you will need to post a list of your characters that are active. It will usually last a week or so, and if you don't respond, "Inactive" will be placed in the name of the account of that character. To remove "Inactive" from the name, just rp with that character to show that they are indeed active. If a character is inactive for two months or more, it will be deleted.
In Character
1. No Godmodding or Power-playing.
Godmodding is when you make your character invincible. Power-playing is when you take control of another person's character.
2. Make your character unique. So, no Gary Stu's/Mary Sue's. Give them some depth, some conflict. Not to say they have to be miserable or suffering, just make them 'real'. If you need help, just ask.
3. Please try to match the length of the post before you. (ie: if a person posts five paragraphs, try to do the same in response). Obviously, we will have members from many different backgrounds and skill-levels, so we understand. And it is quality over quantity, meaning we would rather read one good paragraph than five really awful paragraphs. If you need help, feel free to ask.
4. This board is, like the games, rated M for mature. However, this does not mean "R". If your characters decide to engage in certain private activities, fade to black. In other words, time-skip to a time afterward (ie: the next day, week, etc). Kissing/hugging/etc is allowed, but no explicit content, please.
5. You may not kill another person's character without their permission.
6.
7. One character per account, but you can have as many characters as you want so long as you keep them all active.
