As Nicola led her down the path, he felt it would be a good idea to start up a little bit of a conversation. "So, how long have you been an Assassin?" he asked as he glanced at her through the corner of his eye, while also keeping his voice low in case of eavesdroppers. While the question was a good one to help get a conversation going, it was also a good means of ensuring he wasn't walking with some kind of spy. While he still couldn't quite tell when someone was lying, it was easy to decipher if there was hesitation in their answers.

Alessia felt the awkward silence between the two of them. He spoke finally, a good conversation breaker and odd one but it was good. “Well, officially three years when I went through the ceremony and such. Unofficially my father trained me in the assassin ways since I was a little girl till his passing ten years ago. I was a thief for the longest time so it helped me out a little. What about you? How long have you been a part of the brotherhood?” Alessia asked him smiling a little. She had a lot in her pass that made her who she was. It always a good thing when Templars never suspected a women of doing such crimes, or well she was always the last one they would find. Even at that point she knew they couldn’t ever figure out what she was doing there.

Nicola listened intently to her story, waiting for any details that might have made it seem false, or made-up; though he really couldn't find any. It wasn't filled with too much detail, as people normally would do when they made a false background of their life, nor was it too short, as one that might not have been thought through enough. It seemed likely, and not too far out of proportion. If she was a liar, she was very good at it. Yet Nicola still believed her, which put his mind at ease and allowed him to relax a little.

"Well, I've only just been apart of it for a few months now," he answered as he looked ahead at the path laid in front of them. "It wasn't very long ago I got my first hidden blade," he continued, smiling to himself. He was still proud of his accomplishments thus far, and couldn't help but feel so happy and determined when he talked about them. Yet still, he couldn't help but feel insignificant in front of her, someone who had trained all their life and had been in the Brotherhood for years, where he had just begun earning a place in the Creed.

Alessia wasn’t surprised how long Nicola was an assassins for. It wasn’t something typical to meet someone who had been a part of the creed for such a short time. She was a bit jealous to hear that he had a hidden blade, it was a tradeoff for the sword she had and the blades her brother received. Not typical that she could wear such things around her arms without having some thought of ability. Ali was skilled in a bit sword combat and hand to hand, but she never wanted to resort to violence. She smiled none the less at his answers. “Oh just a few months such a short amount of time.” Alessia commented back to him. She felt like she could trust him, he was proof enough that he wasn’t a Templar just by how he acted. Most all them she had met were pretty arrogant and grabby. “Well even though you have been a part of the creed for a few months I can say you have something I don’t. Sadly I have yet to receive the hidden blade. But it’s ok because it’s a bit bulky for me.” She said with a laugh. It was nice to be at ease with someone who wasn’t from her own city. “I feel like I can trust you… My real name is Alessia Jiron for future reference.” She said already having a feel of trust with him. Ali knew by how he acted he was trustworthy.

Nicola seemed slightly surprised at how she didn't possess a hidden blade. Though at a second thought, it did seem likely that it would be bulky for some, as she said. Nicola straightened his back when she gave her name, even more surprised that she could come to trust him so easily. "Very well... Alessia," he said slowly, trying it out. 'Such a pretty name,' he thought to himself. But as they continued to walk, he felt another awkward silence fall between the two of them. "Where are you from?" he asked, trying to further their conversation.

Alessia smiled a little at the man as they walked together. She was happy without having a hidden blade for things it was great but it was nice. The female knew that things with the hidden blade when she wore dresses it just didn’t work though there were times when she dressed like an assassin. When he spoke her name she nodded and laughed a little about it. “Its kind of an odd meaning, it means the defender of the people. I guess it works though.” Ali spoke knowing her father figured it was the best name for her as she ended up becoming just that trying to defend the people and such. When he asked where she was from she smiled a little as not many assassins came from. “Venezia, but my mother was French so I speak two languages well.” She said figuring it was fun telling people she spoke languages and it helped a lot to. “What about yourself Nicola?” She asked him curious to find out where he was from as well. She hated the awkward silence between them.

Nicola couldn't even bear to look at the young woman when he heard the name of that dreadful city--the one that happened to be his birthplace. Just hearing the name put a distaste in his mouth that he couldn't rinse out. "I am from Venezia as well," he replied quietly, unable to turn his head to her. He hated to even think about that city; it brought up too many memories of his family. And where there were memories of his family, there were unexpressed feelings of anger and jealousy. But for now, he tried to shake those thoughts off and just focus on the conversation at hand.

Alessia smiled a little as she missed her home but the home she knew that home also brought memories she never wanted to relive again. It was always had her curiosity why she stayed there. Or well was there when she wasn’t on a mission or anything. When he said he was there she could tell he didn’t like Venezia to well. It brought up the next thing if he had face hardship like her with everything happening things got out of hand a lot. “You don’t like it there do you?” She asked taking note that he wasn’t looking at her at that moment. “It’s a place that has a lot of bad memories for me, but my sister and brother live there. I try and stay away taking as much missions I can.” She said softly. Her home was no longer a home it was a place where people couldn’t find her if they looked there she knew a lot of hiding places. Rome though she found to be amazing and a place where she could living there at some point.
