Snow glimmered on the ground while the sun was high in the sky. Rome was a city that was infamous for travelers and the church rule. Alessia was visiting the city after a drunken night spent dancing and mostly eating her weight in food. She stood in the window of the inn she was staying at; looking out on the streets seeing most people out and about acting as if the night before was nothing. The female walked back to where her bags were, everything was packed except a few things like her sword. She wore her assassins outfit and a pair of leather pants. Her sword and belt hung a bit loose at her side, as the belt was a bit big for her. Ali made her way out of the inn on to the streets of Rome, scouting out a good place to get some food and such from. The city was new to her and she couldn’t navigate like she could in her own home. The city was huge and so many things were happening around the little area’s she never could tell if there was a gathering. One place she knew of was the coliseum, a place she always wanted to visit. It was finally time for her to make a journey out there.

Alessia made her way to the stables where she kept her horse, Nell at. The horse was one of the few things she kept from her childhood. This horse wasn’t old either due to it being just a colt when she escape the madness. Ali found herself at the stables and grabbing the reins of the horse leading it through the city before she mounted on the horse and road out of the limits. She vaguely remembered the directions her brother gave her to see it. Alessia found herself lost in the midst of just outside the city. She hopped off the horse feeling this was going to be a lost cause. She sighed finding a spot where there was no snow around and threw a blanket on the ground before sitting down on the warm blanket. Nell the horse laid next to her as if to read her mind. Ali pulled out a book and pulled her hood off her head revealing the brown hair tied behind her and her bangs falling to the side.

It was the day after the party, and Nicola definitely needed a break from the over-crowded streets of Rome. Perhaps he would do the things he normally couldn't when he wasn't on vacation. He could see the sights of the city, get some fresh air, as well as a little exercise. It was eventually decided that he would go on a calming walk around the outside of the city.

It was good to get time to himself. Everyone needed a vacation every once in a while to calm their mind and get their emotions in balance. It was also nice to give his hands a break from climbing, and allow them to heal during this time.

The noon was cool, and snow still remained just where it had been. Nicola wore his traditional white Assassin robes, and his crossbow was slung across his back; swaying slightly as he walked. Along his walk, he could make out the figure of a fairly young woman laying down, most likely reading. Shaking those thoughts away, he continued along, eventually passing right by her; but he didn't pay her much mind.

Alessia was becoming bored with her book, as she had read many times before. It was probably the fact she wanted to explore but had the small issue of getting lost… a lot. Rarely had she been in Rome but it was a hope she would find a friendly face among the crowds of the nameless. Her head though pounded from too much drinking. She looked up seeing what looked like a man, in traditional assassin robes. She perked up a bit just by the site of him meant there was someone she could trust and hoping he knew the city better than she did. Ali stood up stretching a bit before attempting to walk over. She had a second thought about talking to him. It was rare that she found an assassin to actually talk to on a vacation, but she had that thought if he was doing the same thing she was sightseeing. Alessia walked up to him figuring it would be nice to actually speak to someone in her trade. She kept her hood off, knowing no one would even recognize her as being an assassin.

“Ciao Assassino!” Alessia yelled to him, before running over to him with a smile on her face. That was her dork moment she managed to embarrass herself as well as her male counterpart. More than likely she felt so bad for announcing that fact he was an assassin, luckily there was no one around them to even here that. “Sorry about that, I was hoping to see a friendly face around here.” She spoke again upon reaching him. Ali knew that she had to apologize for being a bit loud. She fixed her hair a bit hoping to hear him speak something to her. Alessia didn’t know who this man was; nor did she know a lot of assassins, but to her it was always good to meet someone new.

Nicola's mind had wandered slightly. His thought were at ease, and he felt very calm. But it wasn't long before his mindless trance was broken by a voice likely belonging to the very female he had seen as he walked. He flinched flinched panickedly at her words; particularly 'assassino'. But his mind was soon calm again at her second response as she reached him. She too donned the robes of the Assassins, which did bring a a small, shy smile to his face. 'More women. Why is it always women?' he thought to himself nervously. "Ciao, assassina...?" he murmured questioningly. Although she had the robes, he still wasn't entirely sure about her allegiance.

Nicola also made sure to scan the environment, careful for any eavesdroppers. He was mostly confident that they were the only ones around, but an Assassin could never be too sure, could they?

Alessia hoped she didn’t scare the poor man into thinking she was some sort of stalker or something. Of course she kind of fit the part of a stalker in the sense of she could climb and track people with no problem. This man seemed nervous around her, but it wasn’t something to worry about. He mummered asking kind of if she was an assassin in away. “Sí I am an assassin. La Passera is what I go by.” She said lowly with a friendly warm smile on her face. She wanted this man to realize she was a friend not an enemy. Alessia never really gave her first name to the Assassins and always wanted her name to be a secret just because she knew people could betray the creed and for all it was worth, not many girls were in the creed. She smiled at him still feeling like a dork about things. Alessia looked around again still not seeing any one around them, she hoped if any Templar agents were around then they maybe in the trees. None the less her attention was drawn back to the man in front of her.

The female assassin's use of a title rather than an actual name made Nicola raise an eyebrow, but he didn't question her about. He knew there were many Assassins that prefered to keep their names unknown to protect themselves, and very well, the creed itself. He himself did not have any titles yet, but he didn't mind giving his name, so long as he trusted who he was giving it to. "I'm Nicola," he said with the least-awkward smile he could muster. She seemed to present herself in a friendly manner, which seemed to contradict the nervous, shy manner in which he had.

Alessia had this feeling this male was a bit nervous, which was kind of adorable in the sense she had never met anyone who was nervous around her. Most of the time she was out to prove herself and people looked at her like she was crazy. It was a refreshing change for once. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Nicola. You seem a bit nervous?” She said curious to him. She had the tendacy to point things out; which, would end badly. She didn’t mind though only to the fact she would have fun with him if he was. She thought about it, and figured maybe he wanted to go with her to the coliseum and do a bit of site seeing. She hoped he was familiar with Rome as she wasn’t to entirely sure where everything was. “Do mind if I ask you a question?” Alessia spoke with such ease and politeness to her voice, it was shocking she was the same girl before she joined the assassins.

Nicola was caught a little off-guard at her response. It definitely wasn't everyday when someone would point out how nervous he was--and especially not someone he had just met. But it was true, nonetheless, and Nicola opened his mouth to respond, but was immediatly interrupted by her next question. "I... Suppose not," he managed to get out, wondering what she could possibly have to ask him. He could only hope that it wasn't as obvious as her first statement.

Alessia smiled politely knowing she pointed out something she should have kept to herself. She shook her head knowing full well she needed to apologize to the poor man. “I am sorry… I do that a lot to people. But there is not a need to be nervous around me. ” She said sounding sincere about the whole thing. Typically she would have never said anything about it but for some reason today was just a weird. It was probably the hang over talking. “Do you know Roma well? And would you like to go site seeing with me… You see I am from Venezia and first time I’ve really been here.” She explained feeling like a dork no less. It wasn’t usually her place to ask for directions but given the city and the time it was better for her to ask someone who looked at least like they were from Rome than to get hopelessly lost. Of course that was the case at that moment, lost and no where to really go.

Nicola turned his gaze away at her apology. "It's... Fine," he assured her, "Really." He returned his eyes to hers at her first question. "Sì, I'm quite familiar with this city," he answered. But he wasn't prepared for the next question she was to ask. Sightseeing? Oh, as if introducing himself wasn't hard enough. He was to just walk with a complete stranger? Nicola almost felt suspicious of her. It seemed unlikely that any woman would just ask to go sightseeing with him of all other people. What if she was a Templar in disguise? Try as he might, he searched for any signs of hostility in the supposed Assassin's eyes, but found none.

"I... I suppose," he murmured, scratching the back of his head. 'What have I got myself into now,' he thought bitterly to himself.

Alessia wondered how this guy was so nervous, but she realized not everyone had the same confidence. She was comfortable around people, men though she could be on edge a bit. That was just because of the simple fact of guys leaving her without a word. She usually just let things go easily between them. Nicola seemed different from the guys she had met. From the short time she gathered he wasn’t a Templar and he was nervous but somewhat trust worthy. “Really?!” She said happily. This meant someone knew where the hell they were going, and she wouldn’t get lost like a foreigner. Ok really she could count herself as one no one would know the difference. Ali figured he may get over be awkward around her if he and she were able to get to know each other a bit. She wasn’t sure to give him her real name just in case he was a spy. She still had her doubts, and figured he probably had his doubts about her being an assassin. It was always nice to be on guard even in a presence of another assassin. “Are you sure? I mean if you’re not comfortable with it I would understand.” Alessia said to him not wanting to me him even more awkward. She wanted to please everyone some times.

"It's fine," he assured her with a small smile. He had taken note, however, how she wanted to make sure he was comfortable with this. That was in least considerate of her. "Did you have a location in mind?" he asked. Maybe now he could visit some of the places he had never really been to. Despite being in Rome so long, he hadn't been everywhere. Though he still took note of important landmarks and locations, just in case of missions.

She smiled in hope that Nicola would agree to go site seeing. Alessia heard he was fine with going with her, and that made her smile brighten as it was now hope that she would be able to see the one place she was dying to see. “Alright well as long as you are comfortable, you can be my escort.” She said jokingly to him. It was hope that she didn’t offend with her playful joking. She was pretty relaxed when it came around her fellow assassins. It was the simple rule that these people were allies and often your backups when you needed it most. Although she hadn’t met any assassins in a long time, just when she became one and well a few here and there. Even in her guild she had only knew her leader as being one. Nicola asked if she had a place in mind. That brought the fact she had several places in mind; but simply nodded to him. “The Coliseum is the first place I really have been wanting to see.” Alessia said looking back at her horse. Typically she would take her horse with her, but in this case she wouldn’t.

Nicola let out a small chuckle to her joke, but in a sense, he almost took it seriously. He thought himself responsible for protecting his fellow Assassins, especially now that he had the skills and weapons to do so. "Okay, that shouldn't be too hard," he replied. He had been to the Coliseum a couple times, but never actually took a moment to appreciate it for its physical and historical beauty. "Down this way." He pointed down the pathway laid out in front of them and waited for his companion before taking the step in that direction.

Alessia was happy to hear him laugh a little at her joke. For her it was a start of a hopefully less awkward moments ahead. He spoke saying that it wouldn’t be to hard. At least it was something simple to find. Ali didn’t think she could do something hard, she’d get lost again. “Thankfully its not… Kind of feared I’d get lost again.” She said with a laugh. She started to head in the direction of where he had said to go. She smiled a little and started to head that way knowing that it would be fun little adventure. It was better than sitting and being bored. She couldn’t wait to take in the history and beauty of it. Of course Alessia had only heard stories of it.
